Julia Donovan was a daughter of Charles Donovan & Honora Callaghan

Patrick Burke of Brade, Union Hall, Co. Cork and Julia Donovan of Leap married in Leap Church on the 27 January 1878.  The Witnesses were Charles Donovan and Patrick Mahony.


Children baptised in Leap Church on dates on Baptismal Register were:-

William Burke, 27 Oct 1878; Sponsors: William Burke, Hannah Mahony

Mary Burke, 11 Jan 1880; Sponsors: James Burke, Hannah Mahony


Death:
Julia Burke died at Leap on 21 January 1880.  From her death record she was married, aged 23 years, shop keeper's wife.  Present at her death and the Informnt of it to the Civil Registrar was Patrick Burke, Leap.

 

 Patrick Burke's second marriage to Mary Norton 


Mary Norton born in Athlone, County Westmeath on 7 August 1879, was a daughter of Edward Norton, a yacht builder, and Anne Wansboro.

Patrick Burke, a widower and shopkeeper of Leap and Mary Norton (20) of Leap married in Kilmacabea Church on 16 January 1900.  The witnesses were James Burke and Kate Cullinane.

Edmund Burke, 9 Jan 1902.  Edmond died at Keamore on 10 Mar 1903

Patrick Burke died at Keamore, Leap on 6 February 1904.  From his death record he was married, aged 58 years, a publican.  Present at his death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was Mary Burke, wife of deceased, Keamore.

 

 Mary Burke's (nee Norton) second marriage to William Urell 


William Urell was a son of Thomas Urell

William Urell, a creamery manager, of Cononagh and Mary Burke, a widow, of Leap married in Kilmacabea, Leap Church on 21 February 1905.  The witnesses were John Shannon and Katherine Norton.
