In the Griffith's Valuation for Derry, Rosscarbery we find Jeremiah Donovan was a tenant of Patrick White.  Jeremiah had a House and garden in Plot 2d.  The area was 28 perches.  The Annual Valuation of the House was £0  3s.  0d and the Garden was £0  12s  0d.

They had 4 children (all baptised in Rosscarbery Parish):-

Jeremiah baptised Sept 1852. Sponsors: Francis Donovan, Ellen McCarthy

Fachnan baptised 5th January 1855. Sponsors: Michael McCarthy, Joha Donovan.

Johanna baptised 28th April 1857.  Sponsors: Patk Moore, Bridget Maguire.

Ellen baptised 6th December 1859.  Sponsors: James McCarthy, Mary Hayes.
