Leslie Pettit was born in Wandsworth, London on 8 Feb 1924 to Cyril Pettit & Nora Donovan

Leslie was an RAF pilot and was stationed in British Columbia, Canada.  He died on 30 November 1943 and the cause of death was recored as "Multiple injuries, Burns and shock. Aircraft crash".  His Death Certificate shows he was one month 15 days in British Columbia.

Sgt. Pilot Leslie Pettit, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve World War Two was buried on 3 Dec 1943 in the Royal Oak Burial Park, Saanichton, British Columbia, Canada. Plot: Sec D, Plot 21, Grave 14
