Ellen Collins was a daughter of John Collins and Margaret Hurley.

Cornelius Connolly of Reavouler and Ellen Collins of Gurteenaduige, Leap married on 20 January 1885 in the Catholic Church in Leap, Co. Cork.  The Marriage Witnesses were John Collins and John Driscoll.

Ellen Connolly died at Reavouler on 19 November 1939.  From her death record she was a widow, aged 82 years, an old age pensionar.  Present at her death and the Informant to the Civil Registrar was John Connolly, her son of Killinga.
