On the marriage record of their son Timothy Burke in 1879 we see that John Burke is described as a Dairyman which often results in the family moving to another property.

Deaths:

John Burke died at Maulatrahane on 3 November 1887.  From his death record he was married, aged 75 years, a dairyman.  Present at his death and the Informant to the Registrar was his son, John Burke of Maulatrahane.

Mary Burke died at Maulatrahane on 6 July 1895.  From her death record she was a widow, aged 82 years, a dairyman's widow.  Present at her death and the Informant to the Registrar was her son, John Burke of Maulatrahane.
