Jeremiah Murphy, Derrygortnaclohy and Mary White of Keenrath married in the Catholic Church in Dunmanway on 5 February 1895.  The marriage witnesses were James P. White and Margaret Hurley.

Mary Murphy died on 27 March 1848 at Derra, Inchigeela.  From her death record she was a widow, aged 82 years, widow of a farmer.  Present at her death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was John Murphy, her son, of Derra.

MURPHY (Inchigeela) - On march 27, 1948, at her residence, Derry, Inchigeela, Mary, relict of Jeremiah Murphy.  Deeply and deservedly regretted by her sorrowing family.  R.I.Ip.  Funeral on this day (Monday) at 1 o'clock from residence to Parish Church Cemetery.
