John Lynch was a son of Patrick Lynch and Honora Buckley.
Ellen Duggan was a daughter of William Duggan and Kate Mahony

John Lynch of Rathculleen and Ellen Duggan of Rathculleen married on 23 February 1887 in the Catholic Church of St. Joseph, Cloughduv.  The marriage witnesses were Denis Mahony and William Buckley.

John Lynch died at Knockawaddra on 3 January 1941.  From his death record he was married, aged 71 years and present at his death and the Informant to the Registrar was his son, Timothy Lynch, Knockawaddra.

Ellen Lynch died at Kilbonane on 12 January 1941.  From her death record she was a widow, aged 76 years and present at her death and the Informant to the Registrar was her son, Timothy Lynch, Kilbonane.
From the Cork Examiner dated 14 January 1941 we read Ellen's death notice:
LYNCH (Aherla) - On January 12, 1941, at Knockawaddra, Ellen Lynch.  Deeply regretted.  R.I.P.  Funeral from Cloughduv Church on this day (Tuesday), for Kilbonane at 2 p.m.
