FITTON--Mary Bridget (nee Driscoll), on July 2, 2018. Devoted mother of Maureen Nicolosi, and sons Cornelius, James and Michael Fitton. Dear mother-in-law of Guy Nicolosi and Ann Fitton. Cherished grandmother of Alison Carelli and her husband Daniel, Christopher Fitton, and Julia Urban and her husband Eric. Loving wife of the late Cornelius Sr. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was born in Manhattan on August 14, 1922 to John and Bridie Driscoll who emigrated from County Cork, Ireland. Dear sister of the late Elizabeth, Helen and John. Mary was a kind and generous woman who valued time with her family and friends. Her faith was shared as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector and Prison Ministry volunteer. The family will receive visitors on Friday, July 6 from 4 to 8pm at Riverdale on Hudson, 262nd Street and Riverdale Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10am on Saturday, July 7 at St. Gabriel's Church, Arlington Avenue, Bronx, NY.
