William John Harcourt was a son of Charles Harcourt and Ellen Elizabeth Bourne; Charles was a Coast Guard at Crookhaven.
Maria (Mary) Scully was a daughter of Daniel Scully and Mary Collins.

William John Hearcourt and Maria Scully married on 20 March 1890 at the Catholic Church in Skibbereen.  The Marriage Witnesses were Michael Collins and Julia Scully.

Deaths:
William John Harcourt died on 9 May 1930 in hospital in Cork city.  From his death recod he was married, aged 63 years, a labourer.
Mary Harcourt died on 2 November 1946 at Townshend St., Skibbereen.  From her death record she was a widow, aged 86 years, a housekeeper.  Present at her death and the Informant to the Registrar was Laurence J. Casey of Townshend St., Skibbereen.

From the Acknowledgments in the Southern Star newspaper dated December 7, 1946 "HARCOURT - The family of the late Mrs. Maria Harcourt, of Townshend St., Skibbereen, wish to thank the relatives and kind friends of Skibbereen and district, for their expression of sympath in their recent sad bereavement,"
On the same newspaper a letter of acknowledgment to the Skibbereen Town Council was recorded from Mr Robert Harcourt of Birmingham.
