James Sullivan of Bantry Parish and Margaret Neill of Drimoleague Parish married in the Catholic Parish of Drimoleague on 19 February 1852.  The witnesses were John Neill and Patrick Sullivan.

It seems that James was a brother of Patrick Sullivan of Ardnacloghy.

James Sullivan died at Ardnacloghy on 5 May 1905.  From his death record he was a widower, aged 85 years, a farmer.  Present at his death and the Informant to the Registrar was his son Patrick Sullivan of Ardnacloghy.
