William Sweetnam was a son of Henry Sweetnam
Margaret Hayes was a daughter of Peter Hayes and Johanna Leary, Corran

William Sweetnam of Lissangle, Caheragh and Margaret Hayes of Corran, Leap married on 28 April 1896 in the Catholic Church in Kilmacabea, Leap, Co. Cork.  The Witnesses to the marriage were James O'Leary and Hanna Hayes.

William Sweetnam died at Corran on 1 November 1910.  From his death record he was married, aged 46 years, a farmer.  Present at his death and the Informant to the Civil Registrar was his widow, Margaret Sweetnam of Corran.

Margaret Sweetnam died at Corran on 1 May 1945.  From her death record she was a widow, aged 74 years, a farmer's widow.  Present at her death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was Marian Tobin, daughter of Corran.
