Charles Henry Eskett was a son of Frank and Mrs Eskett of Belchertown, MA
Mary Elizabeth Lane was a daughter of William A Lane and Effie L Hitchcock of Sherborn, MA

Charles H Eskett and Mary E Lane married on 9 June 1938 in Brookfield, Worcester, MA and from the Springfield Republican newspaper of June 10, 1938 (page 6) we read:
"WEST BROOKFIELD June 9 - Henry Charles Eskett of Belchertown, son of Mr and Mrs Frank Eskett of that town, and Miss Mary E Lane, president of the Ladies' sodality of the Sacred Heart Church, and daughter of Mr and Mrs William A Lane of High Street, were married today by Rev John D Sullivan, rector of St Mary's parish, at a nuptial mass at Scared Heart Church, Brookfield.  The bridemaid was Miss Amanda Eskett of Belchertown, a sister of the groom.  The best man was a brother of the bride, William C Lane of this town.
Rosewig's Mass in G was sung by the choir and Mrs Charles W . Ottenhelmer of Boston, formerly of this town, was a soloist, also the bride's brother, Edward F Lane, of this town.  Mrs Milton O. Fountain of Warren was organist.  The bride was gowned in ivory white satin, self trimmed, and her bouquet was a shower of white roses and sweet peas.  She also wore a full length veil of the off the face model topped with flowers on the crown.  Her attendant wore a pink net gown with blue accessories.  Pink tea roses formed the bouquet.  Grange hall was the setting for a reception attended  by immediate members of the families and close associates of the couple"

Mrs C Henry Eskett, Belchertown. - Mrs Mary Elizabeth Eskett, 45, of State St., died on Saturday morning in Holyoke Hospital.  Born in Springfield March 23, 1917, she was a daughter of William and Effie (Hitchcock) Lane and had lived here 24 years.  She was a member of St Francis Church and its Catholic Womens Club, of Unon Grange and Belchertown Parent Teachers Association.  Besides her husband, C Henry Eskett, whom she married in Sacred Heart Church, West Brookfield, June 9, 1938, she leaves her parents of Sherborn; four sons, Henry, William, Donald and John, all at home; three brothers, William of Farmingham, Edward of Sherborn, and James of Springfield; a sister, Mrs Marcella Blackmer of Holliston, and several nieces and nephews.  The funeral will be Tesday at 8.15 at Beers and Storey funeral home, Park St., with a requiem high mass at 9 in St Francis Church.  Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home are tonight from 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9"

We read in the Union-News (Springfield, MA) - Thursday, October 9, 1997
"C. Henry Eskett, 85, formerly of State Street, died Wednesday at the home of his son, Donald C. Eskett in Chicopee. He was an assistant foreman at the former Colorado Fuel and Iron Corporation in Palmer. He then worked as a custodian for the Belchertown Public schools for 19 years before his retirement in 1982. Born in Belchertown, he was a lifelong resident. He served with the Marine Corps during World War II. His first wife Mary E. (Lane) Eskett died in 1962. His second wife, Jane E. (Wilson) Eskett died in 1995. He leaves three sons, Henry Jr. of Ware, William F. of Granby and Donald C. of Chicopee; a sister, Amanda Smith of Amherst; nine grandchildern and four great grandchildren. Another son, John, died in 1982. The funeral will be Friday at St. Francis Church in Belchertown followed by burial in Mount Hope Cemetery."
