Benjamin Abner Blackmer was a son of Abner Hial Blackmer and Theresa Beattie.
Marcella Veronica Lane was a daughter of William A. Lane and Effie L Hitchcock.

From the Worcester Telegram & Gazette (MA) - Sunday, January 29, 1995 we read:

HOLLISTON - Marcella V. (Lane) Blackmer, 72, of 851 Washington St., formerly of West Brookfield, died Friday night at home after a long illness. She leaves her husband of 44 years, Benjamin A. Blackmer; five daughters, Paula L. Forcier and Lois A. Guyon, both of Holliston, Linda M. Craft of Northboro, Tina M. Morini of Milford and Tara L. Mooney of Franklin; a brother, Edward F. Lane of Holliston; seven grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in West Brookfield, daughter of William A. and Effie (Hitchcock) Lane, and lived many years in Sherborn and 37 years here. She graduated from Sherborn High School and attended a secretarial school in Worcester. Mrs. Blackmer was once a medical secretary. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. Burial will be in Lake Grove Cemetery."  The cemetery is in Holliston, Middlesex County, MA.
