Edward Francis Lane died on 19 May 2001.
BURIAL: Church of the Incarnation Memorial Garden, Sarasota, Sarasota County, Florida, USA.  PLOT: Memorial Garden Cemetery.

 

OBITUARY:

From the MetroWest Daily News of June 4, 2008 we read:

Catherine V. Lane BELLINGHAM. Catherine V. (Holt) Lane, 88, of Bellingham, formerly of Holliston and Sherborn, died on Sunday, June 1, 2008, at the Milford Regional Medical Center. Born in Millis on March 5, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Annie A. (Fisher) Holt. She was a 1938 graduate of Millis High School and later married Edward Francis Lane. Mrs. Lane made a home for her family for 27 years in Sherborn, where she was a communicant of St. Theresas Parish and a member of the Charles F. Duford Post #47 American Legion Auxiliary. She moved in 1978 to Holliston where she resided until relocating in 1995 to Bellingham. Her greatest passion was spending time with her large, extended family. She also enjoyed her work at Ashland Manor as a cook, and Kathleen Daniels House as a housekeeper. Wife of the late Edward Francis Lane, she is survived by three sons, Edward F. Lane Jr. of Marlborough, Thomas M. Lane and Kenneth P. Lane, both of Bellingham; four daughters, Kathleen McLaughlin, Mary E. Karcher, Maureen Lane, Nancy A. Wood, and her son-in-law, Larry P. McLaughlin, all of Bellingham; four sisters, Barbara Harris and Joan Sarah, both of Milford, and Rita Bagdasarian and Therese Perciaccante, both of Millis; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. She was also the sister of the late Mary Frye, Margaret Keenan, Joseph Holt and Frank Holt Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 82 Exchange St., Millis, on Friday, June 6, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, West Roxbury.
