Mary Donovan was a daughter of Joseph Donovan and Ellen Mahony of Union Hall, West Cork, Ireland
Mary and 3 of her siblings, John, Joseph and Daniel, travelled to the United States in 1889 following the deaths of both parents in 1888. We see them listed on the Manifest of the S.S. Cephalonia arriving in Boston on 12 May 1889. The more detailed card for Mary is copied at the end of this page.
