Jeremiah Donovan was a son of Jeremiah Donovan and Johanna.
Margaret Connolly was a daughter of Richard Connolly and Jane McCarthy.
Jeremiah Donovan, a farmer, of Gurtnamuckla and Margaret Connolly of Coolmagnan married on 1 June 1878 in the Catholic Parish of Skibbereen & Rath. The marriage witnesses were Johanne Minihane and Joanna Kean. We see on the Civil Marriage record that the groom's father was Jeremiah, a farmer.
