James Wholey was a son of Jeremiah Wholey and Mary Leary of Dromclogh East
Mary Sullivan was a daughter of Eugene Sullivan

James Wholey of Dromclough and Mary Sullivan of Caherdaniel married on 18 February 1873 in the Catholic Church in Bantry.  The marriage witnesses were Murty Sullivan and Jeremiah Wholey.

James Wholey died on 2 January 1910 at Dromclogh.  From his death record he was married, aged 64 years, a farmer.  His widow, Mary Wholey, was present at his death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar.
Mary Wholey died on 7 June 1924 at Dromclogh.  From her death record she was a wiow, aged 74 years, a farmer's widow.   Present at her death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was Julia Harnedy, Dromcloc.
