James McCarthy and Honora Daly had a son Denis.
Denis was born in Derrygrea, Drimoleague and baptised in Drimoleague RC Parish on 5 April 1818. The Sponsors were John Collins and Mary Mahony. The Drimoleague Parish records commenced in July 1817 so marriage details of James and Honora or older children than Denis are not available.
(Note that while the official spelling of the Townland is Derrynagree West it is written now locally as Derrygrea but is still officially Derrynagree West). It is East of Drimoleague village and just North of Lahanaght Townland.
