Michael Mangan alias Brien and Margaret Daly, both from Drinagh, married in Drimoleague Catholic Parisg on 30 August 1818. The marriage witnesses were James Daly and Catherine Leary.
We note from the marriage entry that Michael was one of the Brien clan with the branch name or agnomen Mangane. "alias Brien" is interesting as such is not commonly used in the clan.
