John Regan and Bridget Houly married but the marriage record for that erea is not available.   It is worth noting that the surname of Bridget has a variety of spelling versions and indeed to this day the Wholley, Wholey, Whooly, Whooley, Whorly, Houley, Houly, Hooly, Howley and Hooley are among the ones to be found.

Death of Bridget Regan (nee Houly):
Bridget Regan died at Carrigbaun on 11 February 1907.  From her death record she was a widow, aged 92 years, a farmer's widow.  Cause of death was old age and no medical attendant.  John Regan, Carrigbaun, was present at her death and the Informant to the Registrar.
