Cornelius Donovan was a son of Cornelius Donovan and Norry Donovan, Driminidy Mary McCarthy was a daughter of Andrew McCarthy and Ellen Collins.
Cornelius Donovan (26) of Driminidy and Mary McCarthy (22) of Rearanagh married in the Catholic Parish of Caheragh, Co. Cork on 10 February 1880. The marriage witnesses were Andrew McCarthy and Hanora McCarthy.
