Cornelius Tobin was a son of James Tobin and Mary Donovan. Julia Hayes was a daughter of Peter Hayes and Bridget Regan.
Cornelius Tobin of Brulea and Julia Hayes of Maulmareen married on 8 February 1879 in the Catholic Church in Kilmacabea. The Witnesses were Michael Donovan and William Keohane.
