Bartholomew Coughlan was a son of James Coughlan and Mary Regan.
Mary Daly was a daughter of Charles Daly and Mary Buckley.

Bartholomew Coughlan, (28) of Barna, Innishannon and Mary Daly (25) of Ballinhassig married on 5 October 1901 in the Catholic Church in Ballyheada.  The Witnesses were James Coughlan and Maggie Reardon.

Deaths:
Mary Coughlan died on 14 May 1942 at the Cork District Hospital.  From her death record she was late of Coolgreen, White's Cross, she was married, aged 74 years, wife of a labourer.
Bartholomew Coughlan died at Leemount on 14 November 1946.  From his death record he was a widower, aged 69 years, a labourer.  Present at his death and the Informant to the Civil Registrar was Daniel Duggan, Leemount.

COUGHLAN (Leemount) - On November 14, 1946, at his daughter's residence, Bartholomew Coughlan, late of Coolgreen, White's Cross.  Deeply regretted by his family.  R.I.P.  Funeral from Clogheen Church at 2 o'clock on this day (Saturday) to Douglas.
