Johanna Donovan's first marriage to Timothy Wholey 

Tim Hooley and Johana Donovan married in the Catholic Parish of Kilmacabea (Leap), West Cork on 26 February 1843.  The marriage witnesses were Denis Donovan and Jerry Hayes.

Child:

Mary Wholey was born in Ireland circa 1844 but record not currently located.
 

Death:
Timothy Wholey died and Johanna, with Mary, moved to New Orleans, USA.  We do see a record of a Mrs Whoolly (25) and Miss Whoolly (6) arriving in New Orleans on 24 December 1853 on a ship, "Pampero", which trip last departed San Juan.
 

 Johanna Donovan's second marriage to Patrick Donovan 

In New Orlean Johanna married Patrick Donovan.  He was born in Ireland but we have no means of establishing his parents or where in Ireland he was born.

Child born in New Orleans:

James Donovan, 9 Nov 1857.  James died on 12 April 1864
