Margaret Regan was a daughter of James Regan and Mary Shanahan.

Bartholomew Hayes of Ballyvireen and Margaret Regan of Brulea married on 31 July 1906 in the Catholic Church in Kilmacabea.  The Witnesses were John Collins and Julia Regan.
