In Griffith's Valuation of Ireland for Lissane Lower to read
   Humphrey Collins occupies Plot 7 totalling over 60 acres
   Michael Collins occupies Plot 8 totalling over 67 acres
   both with others share bog in Plot 5 containing 35 acres.

 

Death:
Humphry Collins died at Lissane on 17 April 1873.  From his death record he was a widower, aged 88 years, a farmer.  Present at his death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was Humphry Collins of Lissane.
