Obituary of Nellie Theresa Hennelly:

HENNELLY - Nellie Theresa (nee O'Sullivan), born December 16, 1908 in Dunman-Way, Co. Cork, Ireland, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at age 95. After working as a nurse in London, she lived in New York City for many years. She was a nurse at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center until her retirement. She was an active member of St. Mary's Church in Dumont. After moving to Ridgewood, she joined the parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and also served as a volunteer at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and the Valley Hospital. She is predeceased by her husband Patrick and her granddaughter Tara Marie. Nellie is survived by her children Patrick Hennelly and Maureen of Lakewood, NJ, Margaret Campbell and Thomas of Ridgewood, NJ, Mary Dunckley and Kenneth of Manalapan, NJ, Richard Hennelly of Weymouth, MA, Thomas Hennelly and Patricia of Queens, NY, and Joseph Hennelly of Naples, FL. She is the beloved grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Margaret O'Driscoll of Enniskean, Co. Cork, Ireland, in addition to a large, loving extended family in Ireland. Funeral services provided by the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450, 201-444-7650. The funeral mass will depart from the funeral home on Friday at 9:45 AM proceeding to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood for a 10:45 AM funeral mass. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends and family may visit tonight from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in Nellie's memory to The Christian Health Care Center, 301 Sicomac Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481.

Patrick Hennelly

Patrick Hennelly died Monday, March 20, 2016 in Jupiter, FL. He was 78. Born in New York City, he resided in Allendale before settling in the Fairways Community of Lakewood 16 years ago. Most recently, he and his wife moved to Red Bank. Prior to retiring in 2001, he worked for McGraw Hill Publishing Company for over 45 years. Patrick was very involved in the Fairways community and served on the Board of Directors. He loved golfing, and spent time with his wife traveling between Red Bank and Jupiter, FL for the beautiful weather. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren – and attended all of their events. He was predeceased by his mother, Nellie; and his brothers: Richard and Joseph. Surviving is his loving wife of 53 years, Maureen; a daughter, Patricia Hennelly; 2 sons: Michael and his wife Jean, and Christopher and his wife Kerri; 7 grandchildren: Patrick, Michael, Timothy, Mary, Maureen, Samantha, and Makayla; 2 sisters: Margaret Campbell and Mary Francis Dunckley; a brother, Thomas; and many nieces and nephews. Richard B. Hennelly

Richard B. Hennelly, 69, of Columbus OH, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2011. He is survived by his sons, Brendan and Stephen Hennelly both of Columbus, OH; daughter, Michelle (Michael) Dannaher of Boston; brothers, Patrick (Maureen) Hennelly, Thomas (Patricia) Hennelly and Joseph Hennelly; sisters, Margaret (Tom) Campbell and Frances (Ken) Dunckley and many nieces and nephews. Richard formerly of Weymouth, MA, was born on July 30, 1942 in New York, NY. He graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School and attended Fordham University. He loved baseball and volunteering with Weymouth Youth Basketball. Memorial Service was held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1 Passaic Street, Ridgewood, NJ. Joseph E. Hennelly January 30, 1946 ~ September 28, 2012 Joseph E. Hennelly, 66, of Hoschton, GA, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2012. He was born on January 30, 1946 in New York, NY. He is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Nellie Hennelly O'Sullivan and a brother Richard Hennelly. Joe is survived by two sisters Margaret and Frances and two brothers Patrick and Thomas. Also surviving are his two sons Paul Kim and Dennis Tara and six grandchildren, Kaylee, Kyle, Allison, Kathryn, Reese and Kaden. Joe was a Vietnam Veteran, a retired air traffic controller with 35 years of federal service and a proud former volunteer firefighter. His true calling however was serving as a proud and steadfast father of two sons and a doting grandfather to his six favorite little people in the world. A visitation will be held on October 4, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046 770 277-4550.
