Cornelius Lane was a son of John Lane and Mary Ford.
Mary Mahony was a daughter of Patrick Mahony

Cornelius Lane of Ballydaheen and Mary Mahony of Jone's Lane, Mallow married on 21 June 1896 in the Catholic Church in Mallow.  The Witnesses were Dan Mahony and Ellen Barrett.

Cornelius Lane late of Jone's Lane died on 22 December 1924 at Mallow Hospital.  From his death record he was married, aged 44 years, a labourer.  Present at his death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was Daniel Lane, Ballydaheen, Mallow, brother of the deceased
