Hannah Mahony was a daughter of John Mahony and Mary Driscoll. She was a great grandaughter of John Wholey (Houly) and Kate Regan of Drimoleague.
Hannah Mahony sailed on the S.S. Baxonia from Queenstown (now called Cobh) on 30 June 1909. Her sister Margaret was with her. They were heading to Brooklyn, NY.
John F Souza (27), a chauffeur of 91 Gore St., Cambridge and Hannah M Mahony (26) of 36 Winchester Street married on 31 January 1923 in St. Aiden's Church, Brookline, Massachusetts.

RIchard A Souza, 70
Westbrook - Richard A Souza, 70, of Cumberlans Street died on Wednesday at a Portland Hospital. He was born in Dorchester, Mass., a son of John F. and Hannah O'Mahoney Souza.
Richard served in the Coast Guard for 22 years and worked as a Merchant Marine for 20 years. Most recently he worked for the Maine Turnpike Authority. Richard enjoyed being out at sea and doing carpentry. He was a member of the E-78 Club, the Cutterman's Association and the Eagles Club.
He was predeceased by a brother, John P Souza of Dorchester, Mass., two sisters, Dorthothy Condon of Bellingham and Margaret Hamel of Burlington, Mass.
He is survived by his wife, June Cairns Souza of Westbrook; three sons, Richard of Sanford, James of Sanbournville, N.H. and Gregory of Westbrook; a daughter, Denise Murphy of Buxton; a step-son, Tod DeRoche of Westbrook; a stepdaughter, Susan J Haskell of Westbrook; a sister, Joan Driscoll of Norwood, Mass.; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
