Ellen Donovan was a daughter of Timothy Donovan and Johanna Hayes.

Timothy Regan of Brulea and Ellen Donovan of Cregg married in the Catholic Church in Leap (Kilmacabea Parish) on 29 January 1874 according to the Church Marriage Register but on 7 February 1874 according to the Civil Marriage Register.  All other details correspond.
