Ellen McSweeney was a daughter of Edward McSweeney and Margaret Horgan.

Richard Conroy of Scart and Ellen McSweeney of Aherla Beg married on 7 January 1910 in the house of the Parish Priest, Canon O'Mahony.  The Witnesses were  Cornelius Coveny and Eliza McSweeney.
