In The Tithe Applotmernt in 1829 for Cappanaboha we see Cornelius Donovan Rua held 44acs of land.  So it indicates that he was of the Donovan Rua clan.

In Griffith's Valuation of Ireland (c.1850 in this locality) Cornelius Donovan held lands, Plot 5, totalling 35acres 3rds and 35pchs in Cappanaboha.  He was a tenant of Francis Donovan.
An Eleanor Donovan was a tenant of Cornelius and she had a house and small garden.

Cornelius Donovan of Cappanabohy died on 6 December 1872.  From his death record he was aged 88 years, he was married and a farmer.  Denis Shannahan of Union Hall was the Informant of the death to the Civil Registrar.
