 Family history has it that this Jeremiah was of the O'Donovan Rossa clan. That being the case then it is most likely that he was a son of Jeremiah O'Donovan & Máire O'Donovan Báid. This Jeremiah was a grandfather of the famous Fenian, also called Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa. Jeremiah taught as a Select School Teacher as per the Census of 1860 Childern born in Pennsylvania:-
