Mary Anne McCarthy died at Lahanact on 23 May 1924. From her death record she was a Spinster, aged 31 years, a labourer's daughter. Present at her death and the Informant to the Registrar was Patrick McCarthy, her brother, of Lahanact, Drimoleague.
