Joseph was a son of John and Elizabeth Lordan.

Two of their children are deceased:
Elizabeth m Lordan b 7 Jan 1932 Boston, d. 20 Oc t 2006 E Falmouth, Ma (
Elizabeth M. “Betty” (Lordan) O’Sullivan, age 74 of East Falmouth, formerly of Quincy, died Friday Oct 20, 2006 at Bourne Manor Nursing Home. 
 
 She was the wife of Martin J. O’Sullivan who died in 1977. 
 
 Born and raised in Jamaica Plain, Betty was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Jamaica Plain. Betty worked for John Hancock Insurance Co in Boston. She lived in Quincy moving to Falmouth in 1978. 
 
 She is survived by 3 daughters Marie A. Desmond of E. Falmouth, Marlene J. Goforth and Margaret Gillespie both of CA, one son Martin Joey. Sullivan of Everett, one sister Marlene V. Burke and one brother Joseph P. Lordan both of E. Falmouth. She also leaves 10 grandchildren. 
 
 A Visiting Hour will be from 11:00 to Noon on Monday October 23, at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home 475 Main St. Falmouth Center.)

Marie A. Desmond - May 28, 1955 - April 16, 2019
 
Marie passed away suddenly on April 16, 2019 at Cape Cod Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Betty O’Sullivan.
 
Marie was born and grew up in Wollaston, MA. Marie was loved by all, and a friend to all, always willing to give her time to anyone who needed her. She was a loyal wife, mother, sister, and niece, who loved her family dearly, and did everything she could to take care of them. She was a very passionate animal lover, and loved all animals. In recent years, she loved to spend her time at Surf Drive Beach to meditate, and reflect, and also feed the ducks there, along with any other critter that may have shown up. Marie was a very passionate fan of the rock band Aerosmith, and saw them many times in concert. She also listened to Aerosmith’s music frequently whenever she could.
 
She is survived by her son, Tyler S. Desmond, her husband, Henry Desmond, her sisters, Margaret Gillespie (O’Sullivan) and Marlene “Cookie” Goforth, her brother, Martin “Joey” O’Sullivan, her uncle, Joseph Lordan, her aunt, Marlene Burke, and cousins, Jennifer Burke-Gregory, Maureen Gilman, and Daniele Burke. She is also survived by her nieces, and nephews, along with her many friends.

Joseph P. Lordan, Jr., 88, of East Falmouth passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023.  Born in Boston son of the late Madelene M. (Menz) and Joseph P. Lordan, Sr.

He was a Boston firefighter for 33 years. He was stationed at Ladder 23 Firehouse in Grove Hall area for many years.  Joe loved his job and all his Firefighter Brothers.

Dear brother of Marlene Burke and her husband Paul and the late Betty O’Sullivan.  Loving uncle of Martin O’Sullivan, Marlene and her husband Joe Gorforth, Margaret O’Sullivan, Maureen Gilman and her husband Kam, Jennifer Gregory and her husband Adecanel, Daniele Burke, Tyler Desmond and the late Michele Burke, Paul J. Burke and Marie Desmond and her surviving husband Henry.  We miss and love you “Uncle JoJo”.

Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church Episcopal, 12 Quincy Ave., Quincy on Sunday, November 26 at 11:30AM.
