Bartholomew Hegarty died on 10 January 1882 at Caharagh. From his death record he was married, aged 28 years, a house carpenter. Cause of death was pneumonia, 23 days, certified. Present at his death and the Informant to the Registrar was Catherine Hegarty, his mother, of Caharagh.
