Patrick was my gggf, and Michael was my ggf. The Cronin family lived hardscrabble lives in Ireland, London, and New York. I am impressed by their fortitude, For without such, their descendants would not have enjoyed the fruits of freedom and properity.

Michael Cronin, died in Lynn, Massachusetts, on July 31, 1875, as a result of a heart attack while bathing on Long Beach, in company with a friend. He left three orphaned children that were raised by his sister, Mary C. (Cronin) Moloney. He wife predeceased him.
