Patrick was a son of Daniel Donovan & Mary Hayes
Patrick Donovan (23) of Clonakilty and Bridget Hurley (21) of Clonakilty were married on Sunday 7th January 1877 at Church of St. Anne, Clonakilty, Co. Cork. The Witnesses were John Deasy and Mary Donovan.
Patrick is buried in family plot in Rosscarbery Cathedral
Bridget is buried in The Abbey, Timoleague (name on headstone is Mary Ellen - an error)

Mary Donovan, (b. 1 Dec 1877).
John Donovan, (b. 12 Apr 1879).
Daniel Donovan, (b. 9 Apr 1881).
Death:
Patrick Donovan died at Barrack Hill, Clonakilty on 13 February 1890. From his death record he was married, aged 35 years, a brewer's drayman. Present at his death and the Informant to the Registrar was Bridget Donovan, his widow.
