James O'Donovan and Bridget O'Donovan, married on 31 July 1928 in Dunmanway Roman Catholic Church. The Witnesses were Pat Donovan and Nora Crowley.

Patrick John (b. 5 June 1929). Sponsors: Michael Donovan, Mary Donovan. He was Confirmed in Drimoleague in 1942.
Jerome (b. 15 Jan 1932). Sponsors: Jerome Donovan, Catherine Donovan. Jerh lives in Drinagh.
Note: Bridgie has a step sister, Katherine who moved tpo the US and married Dennis Mccarthy. Their son, John McCarthy visited Ireland in 1978 and here is an excerp from his subsequent letter to Bridgie dated November 20, 1978
"Dear Aunt Bridgie:
Ever since we returned from our trip to visit Ireland, we have been thinking about how wonderful it was to meet everyone and see the Ireland of our parents. Meeting and talking to you was one of the highlights of our trip"
