Knocknagashel Castleisland Co. Kerry Ireland
Daniel Looney and Hanora Healy (marriage cert not available, but on the 1911 Census Daniel was then married 62 years which would put their marriage about 1849). It is most likely that Daniel was much older than his wife, Hanora.
6 children were born and 3 living in 1911 including:-
Thomas (from Census 1911 he was born about 1860)
Mary (from 1911 Census then Mary was born about 1865)
Margaret (from 1911 Census she was born about 1878)
Maurice (from Census 1901 he was born about 1880)
Note: Honora (Nora) and Thomas were living in Knocknagashel at the time of their respective marriages in 1896 and 1898. Daniel was with his son, Thomas, in Cordal East by 1901 Census. We note that from the 1911 Census in both Cordal and Cloonclogh that Thomas, Mary and Margaret were still living. Honora (Nora) had been killed with her husband, John Russell, in a horse cart accident prior to 1911 as may be seen in her linked page on the site.
