Fr Patrick Ford, Parish Priest of Kinvara, Co. Galway
Fr Patrick was born in 1804 in Ballynacurragh.
Fr Patrick is not included in the Maynooth Matriculation list, this indicates that he must have been educated abroad (Rome, Salamanca, Lisbon, Paris, Louvain etc).
He was Catholic Curate (C.C.) in Beagh 1836 – 1844 and Parish Priest (P.P.) in Kinvara 1844 – 1846.
Together with Sir Wm Gregory’s father he worked on famine relief & died as a result of famine fever.
