Fr. Francis Ford was Parish Priest of Ballindereen, Co. Galway.

He collected £2,000 in Australia towards the building of a new church in Ballyvaughan in 1863 – 1866.
Died 26 Dec 1884 and the Informant of his death to the Civil Registrar was J. Moloney, Kinvara. His death cert. gives his age as 57. His headstone was erected by his niece Mary Anne Fahy (nee Keely) of Loughrea.
