William Donovan and Ann Hurley (Hurly) married in Drimoleague Roman Catholic Parish on 14 May 1838. The Witnesses were Danl. Hurley and John Sullivan. There was not a record kept of parents of the bride and groom in the Church register in that erea so we do not have these names. Often, but not always, a parent was a Witness to the marriage. We see that a Witness here was a Daniel Hurley and when we examine the Griffith's Valuation for Maulagow in the early 1850's we see that a Willian Donovan is sharing land with Daniel Hurley Senior. Most likely Ann Hurley was a daughter of Daniel Hurley & Ellen Cane.
William is one of the names listed on the Donovan page here
