Cornelius Donovan was a son of Timothy Donovan and Ellen Coveney.
Catherine Hurley was a daughter of John Hurley and Mary Collins.

Cornelius Donovan and Catherine Hurley married on 28 July 1857 in the Catholic Parish of Enniskeane & Desertserges.  The marriage Witnesses were Daniel Hurley and Honora Hayes.

Catherine Donovan died at Kilnacranagh on 27 July 1884.  From her death record she was married, aged 56 years, wife of Cornelius Donovan a labourer.  Present at her death and the Informant to the Registrar was Cornelius Donovan of Kilnacranagh.

Death:
Cornelius (Con) Donovan died on 6 June 1915 at Gurteenroe, Enniskeane and from his death record he was a widower, aged 89 years, a labourer.  Present at his death and the Informant to the Registrar was his daughter, Margaret Murphy of Gurteenroe.
