John Daly and Catherine (Kate) Brien were married on 3rd March 1835 in Old Chapel, Drimoleague, Co. Cork.  (copy of their Marriage Certificate shown below).

John and family lived in Garranes North which is the townland immediately to the East of Castledonovan where the O'Donovan Castle stands.  The broad area covering a few townlands is often referred to as Castledonovan so hence we find the address for the childern in the Baptism Register as Castledonovan.

They had the following children (all baptised on dates below in Drimoleague):-

John Daly of Castledonovan died on 3 April 1885.  On his death record he was aged 80 years, a widower.
