Johanna Burke was a daughter of Thomas Burke and Nelly Desmond of Drinagh West
Daniel Cahallane, a mason of West Drinagh and Johanna Burke, a farmer's daughter of West Drinagh married on 2 March 1867 in the Catholic Church in Drimoleague. The Witnesses were Michael Cahallane and Thomas Burke.

Daniel Cahalane died at Curraghnaloughra on 13 November 1917. From his death record he was married, aged 72 years, a farmer. Present at his death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was Denis Cahalane, his son.
Johanna Cahalane died at Curraghnaloughra on 4 January 1938. From her death record she was a widow, aged 81 years, an old age pensioner. Present at her death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was James Cahalane, her son.
From the West Cork Graveyard Database hosted by Skibbereen Heritage Centre for Drinagh West Graveyard we read that in an unmarked grave in the South west (bottom right hand) corner of graveyard by wall.: "There are several generations of the Cahalane family buried in this section of the graveyard. The Cahalane family were from Curraghnaloughra and Dereenanpigue, Drinagh."
