Michael Donovan was a son of Michael Donovan and Mary Lynch.
Julia Dempsey born in Carrigfadda and baptised 6 July 1845 was a daughter of Jerh Dempsey and Kate Donovan.

Michael Donovan of Reavouler, Drinagh (from Church Marriage Register) and Julia Dempsey of Carrigfadda married in the Catholic Church in Rosscarbery on 5 February 1881.  The Witnesses were Patrick Donovan and Patrick Collins.
The Civil Marriage record (copy below) is less clear on the spelling of Michael's address and we see that the bride's father is shown as Donovan instead of Dempsey (not a totally uncommon error).

Michael Donovan died at Carrigfadda on 26 December 1916.  From his death record he was married, aged 71 years, a farmer.  Present at his death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was Michael Donovan, his son of Carrigfadda.
Julia Donovan died at Carrigfadda on 6 April 1931.  From her death record she was a widow, aged 86 years, a farmer's widow.  Present at her death and the Informant to the Civil Registrar was Mary Daly, her daughter of Reenogreena.
