Cornelius Regan was a son of Jeremiah Regan and Catherine McCarthy.
Margaret Donovan was a daughter of Michael Donovan and Julia Dempsey.

Cornelius Regan of Castledonovan and Margaret Donovan of Carrigfadda married on 14 June 1928 in the Catholic Church in Rosscarbery.  The Witnesses were Thomas O'Regan and Kittly Dempsey.

Deaths: 
Margaret O'Regan died on 26 March 1964 at Carrigfadda.  From her death record she was married, aged 79 years, a farmer's wife.  Present at her death and the Informant of it to the Civil Registrar was James V O'Regan, Carrigfadda.

From The Cork Examine dated Friday, March 27, 1964:
O'REGAN (Reenascreena) - On March 26, 1964, at her residence, Carrigfadda, Reenascreena, Margaret, beloved wife of Cornelius O'Regan.  Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband and relatives. R.I.P.  Removal of remains on this (Good Friday) evening at 5 o'clock to Sacred Heart Church, Drinagh.  Funeral on tomorrow (Saturday) at 2.30 p.m. to adjoining cemetery.

Cornelius O'Regan died on 29 November 1970 at Carrigfadda.  From his death record he was a widower, aged 84 years, a farmer.  Present at his death and the Informant to the Civil Registrar was James V O'Regan, his nephew of Carrigfadda.

O'REGAN (Reenascreena) - On November 29, 1970, at his residence, Carrigfadda, Reenascreena, Rosscarbery, Cornelius O'Regan.  Deeply regretted by his nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends. R.I.P.  Requiem Mass on today (Tuesday) at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Church, Drinagh.  Funeral immediately afterwards to adjoining cemetery.
