Frank (Francis) Donovan was a son of John Donovan and Margaret Buckley.
Ellen Mahony was a daughter of Edward Mahony and Nora Walsh of Dripsey

Frank Donovan of Classis, Ballincollig and Eily Mahony of Ballyburden, Ballincollig married in the Catholic Church in Ballincollig on 8 July 1920.  The marriage witnesses were Cornelius Donovan and Nora Mahony.

Death:
Frank O'Donovan of Raheen, Carrigrohane died on 2 May 1954 at the North Infirmary Hospital, Cork.  From his death record he was married, aged 65 years, a farm labourer.

Death announcement in the Cork Examiner of Monday, 3 May 1954:
DONOVAN (Carrigrohane) - On May 2, 1954 at the North Infirmary, Frank, beloved husband of Eily Donovan, Raheen, Carrigrohane.  Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife and family.  R.I.P.  Removal on this (Monday) evening at 7 o'clock to Ballincollig Church.  Funeral on to-morrow (Tuesday) morning after 9.30 o'clock Mass to St. Finbarr's Cemetery.
