John Duggan was a son of John Duggan and Elizabeth Galvan (Gallivan).
Catherine Coughlan was a daughter of Daniel Coughlan and Margaret Donovan.

John Duggan of Bandon and Catherine Coughlan of Bandon married on 26 November 1912 in St Patrick's Church in Bandon.  The witnesses were John Duggan and Kate McCarthy.

Hereunder we show a copy of the Baptismal Register for Kilmurry, Moviddy, Kilbonane and Cannovee Parish for 1870.  The bottom entry is the baptism of John Duggan child of John Duggan and Bessy Gillivan on 3 April 1870.  Written above it is "married in Bandon 26 Nov 1912 to Catherine Coughlan (sps not given)".  On occasions we do see such additions on Baptismal records which is indeed very useful for verification purposes.
